Kris is responsible for all matters related to corporate finance, HR, facilities management, and IT oversight. Kris started her career as a certified public accountant in the Fort Wayne, Indiana office of Baden, Gage and Schroeder.
She moved on to create an independent accounting and bookkeeping practice, which then led her to SYM, at that time her client. “What attracted me to SYM was the high integrity of the people who work here. I saw that they were a well-grounded, family oriented company with a high level of respect for work-life balance,” Kris said. “What’s more, I think our clients see that too. The way we’ve consistently grown as an organization, and how many of our referrals are client-generated is pretty impressive.”

Kris is married to Jeff Black and they enjoy spending time with their three grown children. She is a “lake girl” who can also be found with her hands in the dirt of a garden or her nose in a good mystery book.
